Is it safe to pay on Linkup?
Yes. Payments are processed by Ryft Pay Ltd, which is authorised and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (firm reference number 972895) and certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the highest standard for handling card data.
Your card details go straight to Ryft. Linkup only sees limited info, like the card type and last four digits.
It’s the same for Hosts: your payout bank details are held by Ryft, and Linkup only ever shows the last 4 digits of your account number. See Why can I only see part of my account number?
Only ever pay through Linkup. If a Host asks you to pay by bank transfer, cash app or crypto instead, that’s against our rules and you won’t be protected. Please report it.
