Your responsibilities as a Paid Linkup Host
When you host a Paid Linkup, you’re the seller. Linkup collects payment on your behalf, but you’re the one delivering the linkup. That means you need to:
- Deliver what you described, at the date, time and place shown, for everyone who paid.
- Have the right licences, permissions, qualifications and insurance for what you’re doing, like public liability insurance or instructor qualifications.
- Follow consumer law and pricing rules, with no hidden fees, fake scarcity or bait-and-switch.
- Handle your own taxes and any invoices. See Do I need to pay tax?
- Respond to disputes and give us evidence when we ask.
- Only cancel for genuine reasons, like safety or circumstances outside your control.
We may hold payouts, limit hosting or remove linkups if these aren’t met.
