What are male-only and female-only linkups?

A Host can set a linkup to be for anyone, male only or female only. Everyone can still see the linkup, but only people whose gender matches can join or ask to join.

This uses the gender you gave when you signed up (it isn’t shown on your profile). We don’t verify gender, so we can’t guarantee everyone at a restricted linkup meets the restriction. Misrepresenting your gender to join one breaks our Terms and can get you removed from Linkup.

If you see someone at a restricted linkup who you believe shouldn’t be there and it makes you feel unsafe, leave and report it.
