What does “Ask to join” mean?

Some Hosts like to approve who joins their linkup. On these linkups the button says Ask to join. Tap it, add a message if you like, and your request goes to the Host (or a Co-host) to accept or decline.

• You’ll get a notification when you’re accepted, and you’ll be added to the group chat.
• If it’s a Paid Linkup, you’re only charged if you’re accepted and the linkup goes ahead.

Tip: Hosts are more likely to accept people with real photos, a bio and a friendly message saying why they’d like to come.
