How do I join a linkup?
- Tap the linkup to open it.
- Read the details: what’s happening, when, roughly where, and any rules from the Host.
- Tap the button at the bottom. What it says depends on how the Host set up the linkup:
- Join: open linkups. You’re in straight away.
- Ask to join: the Host approves who comes. Your request goes to them. See What does “Ask to join” mean?
You can add a message when you join or ask to join, like a quick hello or why you’re keen. It’s optional, but Hosts love it.

Once you’re in, you’ll be added to the linkup’s group chat and can see its exact location.
You can join a linkup right up until it ends, even if it’s already started. Once it’s over, the button changes to Happened.
