Safety tips for Hosts
- Choose a public venue suited to the activity. Don’t invite people you haven’t met to your home.
- Describe risks honestly, including fitness levels, skills needed and anything people should bring.
- Use approval to join if you want to check profiles before people come.
- Brief people at the start of anything physical or adventurous.
- Stop or cancel if things become unsafe, like bad weather or someone behaving badly.
- Look out for each other. If someone seems unwell or vulnerable, help them get home safely.
- Report incidents. Tell us about any injury, harassment, assault or serious misconduct, and contact emergency services if needed.
