What is a “linkup”?

A linkup is a real-life plan that someone creates on Linkup for other people to join. It could be anything: a run club, sunset drinks, a pub quiz team, a co-working session or a day trip.

Each linkup has:

• a Host (the person who created it) and sometimes Co-hosts who help run it
• a date, time and location
• a description of what’s happening
• a group chat for everyone who’s going

Most linkups are free to join. Some are Paid Linkups, where the Host sets a price to join, for example for a yoga class, a food tour or a photography walk. See How paying to join works.
