How do I set up a great profile?
Your profile is how people decide whether to join your linkup or accept your friend request, so it’s worth a couple of minutes.
- Use clear, recent photos of you. Your first photo should show your face. Group shots are fine further in, as long as it’s obvious which one is you.
- Write a short bio. Where you’re from, what you’re up for, what you’re like to hang out with.
- Add your interests. People can filter by interests, so it helps like-minded people find you.
- Add your occupation. It’s an easy conversation starter, and great for networking linkups.
- Add the languages you speak. Handy if you’re travelling or meeting people from all over.
- Add your socials if you like. You can choose who sees them.
You can add all of these from Account, then Edit profile.
- Get verified with Linkup Plus to show your photos are really you.
Keep it friendly and genuine. Profiles with real photos and a bio get far more joins and friend requests.
