If I organise a plan through a Shout, am I responsible for it?

Yes. If you post a Shout and then organise a meet-up with people from it, you’re treated like a Host for that plan. That means:

• meeting somewhere public and appropriate
• following local laws, including on alcohol
• taking reasonable care for the safety of the people you’re meeting

Linkup doesn’t organise or supervise plans made through Shouts. Our Safety Tips apply just the same.
