Should I post a Shout or create a linkup?

Post a Shout when the plan is still loose. You’re not sure of the time or place yet, you want ideas, or you want to see if anyone’s interested.

Create a linkup when you know what, when and where. Linkups have a set time and location, a group chat, join requests and capacity, and can be paid.

A common move: post a Shout, see who’s keen in the comments, then tap Create linkup on the Shout to turn it into a proper plan. See Turning a Shout into a linkup.
