Why can’t I message someone?

To message someone one-to-one, you need to be friends. That means one of you sent a friend request and the other accepted it. This keeps your inbox free of messages from strangers.

If you’re both in the same linkup, you can also chat in the linkup’s group chat.

If you were friends before and now can’t message them, they’ve removed you as a friend. You can send them a new friend request if you like.

If you can’t find their profile at all, they may have blocked you, or their account may have been deleted or suspended.
