How do I add someone as a friend?

Go to their profile and tap Add friend. You can see any mutual friends you have on their profile, which helps if you’re not sure where you know them from. The button changes to Requested while you wait. Once they accept, you’re friends and can message one-to-one.

If they decline, the button goes back to Add friend.

You can see your pending requests in the app, and cancel one you’ve sent if you change your mind.
