What happens to my verification selfie?

We use your selfie only to check it matches your profile photos, and for related safety and fraud prevention.

We don’t use it to build a facial recognition database, identify you in other photos, advertise to you or train AI, and we never sell it.

We keep it securely while you have a verified badge, and delete it if you withdraw consent or delete your account, unless we need it for a fraud or safety investigation or the law requires us to keep it.
