Tips for a linkup people want to join
- Be specific. “Sunday 10k along the canal, chatty pace” beats “Run?”
- Set expectations. Say the pace, skill level, rough costs (e.g. “drinks are on you”), and how long it’ll last.
- Pick a good public spot that’s easy to find. Say exactly where to meet.
- Post with some notice. A day or more gives people time to plan, though last-minute linkups can work too.
- Make your profile inviting. People check out the Host before they join.
- Be active in the group chat. A quick “Hey all, I’ll be wearing a red cap” goes a long way.
