How is distance shown?

On the Discover page, each person’s tile shows roughly how far away they are, in kilometres (for example 2.4 km). The smallest distance shown is 0.1 km, so even if someone is right next to you, it won’t show anything closer.

Distance isn’t shown on people’s profiles, and we never show anyone your exact location.

Distance is based on where your phone is now, so it can be a little off, especially indoors or with Wi-Fi-only location.
